Machine design and mechanism analysis

Rigid multibody dynamics analysis of mechanisms, or first-principles modelling  to solve:
  • Mechanism kinematics and dynamics
  • Response of more general dynamic systems

Such analyses can be used to:
  • Assist in machine design by virtual prototyping
  • Provide loading inputs to structural (finite element) analysis of mechanism components
  • Results of the above analysis to be assessed for strength and/or fatigue
  • Assess and provide insight into complex mechanism behaviors
